Shahid Kapoor Is Scared To Work With Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut’s fan following just keeps on increasing and well, it’s not even shocking. After all, the actress did a fabulous work in her super hit film ‘Queen’. And guess who Kangana’s new fan is? It’s none other than ‘Haider’ actor Shahid Kapoor. The actor is absolutely mesmerized by Kangana’s performance in ‘Queen’, so much that he went so far to say that the actress’ performance in ‘Queen’ is the best given by a female actress in a decade.

Shahid was so overwhelmed by Kangana’s performance, that he just couldn’t take his eyes off her. Not only that, but he thinks that ‘Queen’ actress is so fantastically talented that he’ll be scared to work with her in a film.

“I thought Kangana Ranaut was outstanding in the film. It’s probably the best performance by a female performer in the last 10 years… I guess I’d be scared of working with her because I couldn’t take my eyes off her when she was in the frame. Lately, a lot of B-towners have been shoring Kangana Ranaut with compliments after they watched her film ‘Queen’ and became her fans. First Deepika Padukone, then Sonam Kapoor, recently Shraddha Kapoor and now Shahid has joined the list.

“I thought Kangna Ranaut was outstanding in the film.  It’s probably the best performance by a female performer in the last 10 years… I guess I’d be scared of working with her because I couldn’t take my eyes off her when she was in the frame.  She looked so correct for that character… Working with her will be a challenge,” Kapoor confessed to Filmfare.

Shahid Kapoor All Set To Move Into His New Abode

Bollywood has wrapped up award shows like Stardust, Star Guild and Like OK Screen. We now await the biggie- Filmfare Awards. We recently revealed the list of stars nominated for the prestigious award show and can’t wait to see who bags what! While the who’s who of B-town gear up for the big day, we take a look at the turnouts made by some of our leading ladies and men at the recently held Filmfare Awards pre party.
If a mini award ceremony was conducted for stars and their style statements at the mentioned event, Alia Bhatt would take home the trophy. The actress is often referred to as the bubbly,chirpy girl next door but with her appearance at the pre awards party, she surely bloomed into a charming lady! Seen wearing a white vest-suit by Temperly London, Alia looked gorgeous and chic! There are no two ways about the fact that we were floored by her outfit, dark maroon lips, the sleek hairdo and white sandals. Bravo miss Bhatt!
Next in line was Shahid Kapoor. The Haider actor proved that ‘suiting up’ isn’t always necessary if one has to look sophisticated or stylish. The actor managed to look both in a black shirt, which he wore with dark grey pants and brown shoes. We loved Sasha’s gelled hairdo and the trimmed stubble was a winner of course!
Last, but not the least, was Haider’s beloved mommy dear, Tabu. We were impressed  by the actress’s turnout at Life OK Awards recently where she was a vision in a red saree. The actress has lived up to our expectations as she showed up in a black gown, which she teamed up with a golden clutch. We love Tabu’s simple yet classy look. Having said that, the beauty could certainly have experimented a bit more with her hair, say  tying them up in a bun, or a side sleek ponytail.

Shahid Kapoor flooded with congratulations on his ‘engagement’!

A rumour of Shahid Kapoor’s engagement led to a flurry of congratulatory messages recently from his well-wishers.

Last week, actor Shahid Kapoor had a heck of a busy day on the phone. For the most part he was receiving congratulatory messages for his ‘engagement’. Some reports suggested that the Haider star had got engaged and the friends and relatives called him to congratulate and find out who the lucky mystery girl was.

Obviously, Shahid hadn’t got engaged so he politely clarified the situation to all the callers.

Later on in the day, the actor scooped three awards at Life Ok Screen Awards. Once again the phone began to ring as the well-wishers called him again to congratulate on the triple win.

Saif Ali Khan Out, Shahid Kapoor In

2014’s one of the best Bollywood films, ‘Haider’ actor Shahid Kapoor steps into Saif Ali Khan’s shoes in Reema Kagti’s film ‘Mr. Chaalu’. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan was supposed to play the lead in the film but now recent reports suggest that Kareena’s ex-lover, Shahid Kapoor has replaced the actor.

The makers of the film approached Shahid Kapoor for the lead role after Saif Ali Khan walked out of the project. Apparently, Saif had some remuneration issues with co- producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

Reportedly actor Shahid Kapoor recently got a narration. He responded positively to the story as it’s the kind of character that he hasn’t done in a while. The makers are now locking the dates for workshops that will start soon. The makers of ‘Mr. Chaalu’ want to put the project on floors as soon as they can. After Saif left the film, their priority was to get the hero in place. With Shahid‘s nod of approval, the film will finally kick off now.
Shahid and Kangana Ranaut will be sharing the screen space for the very first time together. ‘Haider’ actor will be playing a role of a womaniser in the film ‘Mr. Chaalu’, whereas Kangana will play the role of his lady love interest in the movie.

Apart from Shahid and Kangana, Pooja and Richa Chadda will also play a crucial role in the film ‘Mr. Chaalu’. Let’s hope the film goes to floor soon, now that the star cast of the film is decided.

Shahid Kapoor Takes A Back Seat

Shahid Kapoor has finally got some time to himself.

Shahid had a very hectic 2014. He was busy almost all year round.
While the year was packed with shooting schedules and film promotions, it was also a very productive year.

Shahid was busy with a major part of last year shooting for Haider and he then went into promotions of the film.

Almost immediately after the release of Haider, Shahid began shooting for Shaandar.
Now that the shoot of Shaandar has wrapped up, Shahid is finally got some time to himself. He needs time to unwind and relax after the hectic and tiring shooting schedule.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor finalized for 'Udta Punjab

Yes, finally it will happen. The ex-flame Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan will reunite after eight long years for ‘Udta Punjab’, a film to be helmed by director Abhishek Chaubey.
Earlier, there were just rumours that the two might come together for the flick, however, now the news is confirmed that the two will officially star opposite each other.
In an interview to a leading daily, the director informed that, “We have come across a script that both, Kareena and I love. We will be working together on that. It will happen very soon.”
Shahid Kapoor was already the lead star for the flick while his ‘Shandaar’ co-star Alia Bhatt is also expected to be the part however, suspense remains over whom among the two actresses will romance with Shahid. Or will it be a love triangle?

Well, whatever if may be, roping in the former couple is nothing less than an accomplishment for the director as it’s been years that none of the filmmakers has managed to do so.

Shahid Kapoor: I’m not insecure!

Shahid Kapoor has had quite a successful year. From receiving appreciation to now winning awards, Shahid’s decision to do Haider has brought him a long way.
But in the cut-throat competition actors live in these days, insecurity prevails. One is bound to feel insecure about their status in Bollywood where big-wigs like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan dominate the Box office.
In a recent interview when Shahid was asked if he is worried about the competition, he said, “I feel a new chapter in my life has started. I’ve changed a lot as an actor and as a person. I think I’ve grown up. I’m not insecure, because I’ve seen enough failure to lose insecurity. I’ve reached that point as an actor where I just want to express myself and find my connect with the audience.”
Well, that sounds fair enough considering that Shahid has come into his own with Haider and cemented his position as a credible actor in Bollywood. We look forward to seeing the actor do more of spectacular work

Shahid Kapoor: 'Hrithik Roshan is the best dancer in the industry'

Shahid Kapoor has said that he believes Hrithik Roshan is the best dancer in the film industry.

The Phata Poster Nikhla Hero actor, who is hosting the 15th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards with Farhan Akhtar, said he is looking forward to the Krrish star's performance.

"I am extremely happy to host IIFA again and more than that I am excited to see Hrithik performing. He is the best dancer in the industry. I remember watching Koi Mil Gaya and I felt like a s**t actor," Kapoor told IANS.

The 33-year-old, who previously co-hosted the IIFAs with Akhtar in 2012 in Singapore, said he is pleased to be helming the show again in Tampa Bay, Florida.

"I had a great time hosting the show with Farhan. It takes a lot of effort to create such an event and I am looking forward to be part of this," he added.

Sonakshi Sinha: 'There's nothing to the rumours about Shahid Kapoor'

Sonakshi Sinha has said she pays no attention to rumours linking her to actor Shahid Kapoor.

The two actors starred together in Prabhu Deva's R...Rajkumar and have been the focus of rumours regarding their relationship status ever since.

The actress told the Hindustan Times: "I'm not dealing with them. I sit at home, read what's written, and then forget it. Frankly, people should stop making it awkward because there's nothing to it."

Sinha, who recently revealed a slimmed-down frame, said she has been working with the actor's trainer to achieve her new look, but said there was nothing to the rumours.

"So? I've been working out with him since November. What has that got to do with him? It's not like the trainer is bound to Shahid. I can workout with ­whoever I wish.

"I've been under pressure for a while. People have been writing about my weight. But it never really bothered me earlier because it didn't come from ­within. I'm... [losing weight] now for myself.

"I've been consistently working out since November. You can see the results now. That's why everyone thinks I'm suddenly looking different."

Sinha stars in Akshay Kumar's next film Holiday.
