Marriage is on the cards sometimes towards the end of the year. I refrain from getting into details. I hope you respect that. I thought it was important for me to acknowledge it in front of the media, so I am doing this," Shahid, 34, told reporters at an event here.Without divulging further details about his impending wedding and his would-be bride, the actor said he would like everyone to treat them like any other normal couple.
"Other than that I am just a normal guy and she is a
normal girl. We should treat it like something that is normal
and regular. And I am very happy to announce this," said the
actor, who is currently busy shooting "Udta Punjab".
Shahid was earlier in a long term relationship with actress Kareena Kapoor till their split in 2007.
