Shahid Kapoor has something to say about rumoured ex Priyanka Chopra in Bajirao Mastani!

Bajirao Mastani is gathering accolades every waking minute. The sheer scale of the film is enough to bewilder your senses. Add to that some superlative performances by Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra and you know the outcome is going to be nothing less than grand. It is nothing but a Sanjay Leela Bhansali masterpiece and Shahid Kapoor agrees. Yes, you heard right! Shahid Kapoor has watched the film and has something important to say about rumoured ex- Priyanka Chopra.

Shahid took to Twitter to express his views about the film and did so in a series of tweets. He first wrote, “Finally saw bajirao mastani. Magnificent cinematic experience. @RanveerOfficial you sure made your parents proud. Take a bow.” Furthermore, he wrote, “@deepikapadukone ethereal and peaking as an artist in every way. @priyankachopra in top form. And above all sanjay leela bhansali.” He then completed the sentence saying, “Your vision sir is just something else . Inspirational . Go watch it if u haven’t already you all.” Now we totally agree with him. Bhansali has created something which is an art in itself and it has warmed so many hearts that it is giving a tough competition to Shah Rukh Khan‘s Dilwale.

Shahid Kapoor bags Half Girlfriend, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s exit?

There seems to be no respite in sight for Ekta Kapoor’s Half Girlfriend, directed by Mohit Suri.Sushant Singh Rajput has opted out of the project due to date issues. Following which, we then had reports on Arjun Kapoor replacing Sushant in the film. Now the latest we hear is that the makers have approached their original choice for protagonist Madhav Jha — Shahid Kapoor.

Says a source close to the development, “Shahid was to play the Bihari loverboy. Then Shahid’s Shaandaar bombed and the film’s producers went to Sushant. Unfortunately for them, he had already given away those dates to Dinesh Vijan for his directorial debut.” Adds the source, “Shahid is now back in the project. It seems the role was destined for him.”

For all that we know, Sushant had clarified why he can’t be a part of Half Girlfriend saying, “It’s unfortunate. I was excited about working with Ekta (Kapoor) again but the dates didn’t work out. The team wanted the same dates as that of Dinu’s (Dinesh Vijan) film, which I’m doing next. Since I had committed dates for it long ago, I didn’t have an option but to pull out of Mohit’s project.”

Shahid Kapoor begins 'Rangoon' shooting with director Vishal Bhardwaj

Actor Shahid Kapoor, whose 'Shaandaar' turned out to be a box office debacle, has started shooting for 'Rangoon' with his 'Haider' director Vishal Bhardwaj.

The actor, who has been giving hints about his look in the upcoming project with different styles of beards, started shooting for the film on Thursday, said a source close to the actor. However, the filming location has not been revealed.

For the film, Shahid went all the way and opted for a beard, and recently shared his new look with a slick moustache on Twitter.

'Rangoon' is a love story based in the 1940s, against the backdrop of World War II. It also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.

Bhardwaj has earlier delivered hit films like 'Kaminey' and 'Haider' with Shahid, and perhaps 'Rangoon' will recreate the magic at the box office.

Meanwhile, Shahid's last box office outing with 'Shaandaar' turned out to be a damp squib.

Shahid Kapoor plants a kiss on wife Mira Rajput

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have become the most-talked-about couple of 2015. From their adorable selfies to the pictures from their holidays, every detail about them makes their fans jump with joy. And a new picture of this much-in-love couple is a proof of their chemistry and mushy romance.

A few weeks after their close friends Masaba Gupta and Madhu Mantena tied the knot, an unseen picture of Shahid and Mira from the wedding ceremony has surfaced on the social media. Joseph Radhik (wedding photographer) shared this picture of the lovebirds on his Instagram account a few days ago.

The adorable picture was accompanied by the post, "@shahidkapoor and #mirakapoor from the epic Masaba Madhu wedding reception in Mumbai. It took us about four trials to make this shot happen with all those lens flares perfectly placed, but when I did and went woohoo, Shahid upped it a notch by planting this tiny kiss on Mira's forehead."

Mira and Shahid tied the knot on July 7, 2015 and ever since the couple has caught the fancy of their fans as well as paparazzi. The evident age gap and non-filmy status of Mira initially set the tongues wagging, but the two over the time have become everyone's favourite.

On the work front, Shahid is currently busy shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon. The film, in which he will essay the role of a soldier, also stars Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.
